CMO Asia Summit 2013, Macau

ImageIt was quite an experience to interact and discuss brands and marketing with some of the leading minds of various industries at the CMO Asia Summit in Macau last month.

I was also pleased to get a chance to share my thoughts on the evolution of marketing and the role of a CMO in an organization from India perspective & Asia at large.
I believe that CMO’s have to start seeing themselves as CEO’s & need to change their mindset from being a marketing, advertising and branding person to also understanding finance, production, operations, law and the global cultures they operate in.
